What Bapu Said on Thursday- 25th April 2013

Bapu told all the devotees, that

Chaitra Pournima is the last day of Shubhankara Navratri.
All over India, Goddess Chandika is worshipped with lots of enthusiasm and love.
Her very avataar( roop) is worshipped by devotees.
Pournima is a special day for Chandikamaata and her son (Bapu), Anjanimaata and her son, Lord Hanuman.
Bapu then explained about the 2 abhangs that were sung at Hari Guru Gram. They were written by Adyapipa and is about the lotus flower and how it grows in the mud and blooms.

Amitsinh Rao from London Upasana group also sent us this valuable information,

Excerpts from Param Pujya Bapu's discourse on 9th April 2009 on Importance of Hanuman Jayanti

1. This is also the day when Shri Hanuman met mother Janaki the first time. He touched her feet and she blessed him as her son and accepted him as her "tat" (father) as well .

As a son he drove away Janaki mother's grief and as a father he consoled her and provided her support.

Her blessing made him "Chiranjeevi" - that is one with eternal life.

That's the reason this day is really his day of birth.

2. Hanumanji is the Maharudra form of Lord Shiva who is the "aradhya dayvat" (worshipping diety) of Shri Ram.

3. The same day, later Lord Hanuman met Ravana and burnt entire Lanka. This began the war against evil.
This is the day of Lanka "dahan" (burning).

So on the day of Hanuman Jayanti, chant Hanuman chalisa, Bhimrupi Maharudra or simply "Om Shri Ram-dutay Hanumantay" (remember Lord Hanuman and sing his bhajans i.e praises).

For any person who does this on Hanuman Jayanti -- Because Shri Hanuman has driven away her grief, Janaki/Sita mother eliminates the grief of that person and blesses him as her son.

So on this important auspicious day, we not only obtain Lord Hauman's blessings, but also the blessings of Janaki/Sita mother.

Ambadnya!

Jai Jai Aniruddha Hari
(the above is an essence in our own words)
