Thursday Discourse - 4th April 2013- A Synopsis.
What Bapu said this evening,
He said that with lots of devotees writing the Anjanimaata book, the jap of "om hari markataya swaha has crossed 11 crores. They will be protected all their life and so will all the people and devotees who are writing the Ram Naam book.
He asked everyone to say I am Ambadnya, We are Ambadnya, Mee Ambadnya Aahe, Mai Ambadnya Hoon many many times and everyone said it together.
Bapu then explained that Anjanamata is hanuman's mother,
Hanuman is Rama's elder brother but he stays as Rama's daas or disciple and servant.
Ram is also Anjanamata's son,
Chandika maata is also Anjanamaata
When Ram and Ravana are fighting, Anjanamata becomes Mahishasurmardhini and gives Ram the vardaan.
It is there in the Ankur Mantra when we chant, Om Ram Vardayani, Shree Mahishasurmardini Namaha.
Anjanamata can be in a lot of different places and in a lot of different forms all at one time.
She can help Ram and Hanuman at the same time.
Bapu then gave the example of a mother. A mother takes on so many different forms. A mother is so loving and yet so firm. He said Raktadantika who has red eyes and red teeth is inside our bodies and when a child is born she uses all her force and yet she is also very soft . So, Bapu said our body is like a temple because we all have Raktadantika within us.
And when a temple is within us, it means we have Gurukshetram within us.
Bapu said, when a mother cooks food and makes some dishes, she makes something that her child likes and puts all her love into it. The children can smell the dish being cooked and are very happy and excited. The mother then does not always feel like eating that dish because she has been cooking it and all she can smell are all the ingredients like oil, etc that went into making it. But she is happy because she made what her children love to eat.
When the husband hugs his mother, and when he hugs his wife and when he hugs his daughter, there is an automatic change in feeling. This is also similar to Chandika mata, Anjanamata and Mahishasurmardini who are all the same and change their feelings when needed.
Jai Jai Aniruddha Hari!

Thursday Discourse ~ 28th March 2013- A Synopsis
Bapu continued his discourse on the explanation of the Gurukshetra Mantra and the Ankur Mantra.
Below are a few excerpts from it.
He explained about - Ramaprana Shri Hanumantaya Namaha.
Bapu said, Lord Hanuman has all the power. He made his tail longer and longer in Lanka and similarly he can coil it many times around the entire universe.
He asked everyone," Have you ever seen Hanuman's devotees?" They are Janaki, Sita, Sugreev and all the Vanars are his devotees.
From the Hanuman Chalisa Bapu quoted,
"Kumti nivaar sumati ke sanghi"
Bapu said, Hanuman removes our bad and evil thoughts and puts in its place good thoughts and wisdom.
Bapu asked everyone if they make Fodni rice, many hands went up, he said fodni rice is made with stale rice from the previous day. For years it's been going on like this and has been made like this. He asked the crowd if anyone makes it with fresh rice. Very few hands went up. He said fodni rice does not have to be made only with stale rice. We should also use our brains and wisdom and not just blindly follow something because it has been going on for ages.
"Ram rasayan tumhare pasa ,",
Hanuman tells us all the good things about Lord Rama and is his most ardent devotee.
He has the power of devotion to Rama for all births.
Durgam Kaaj Jagat Ke Jeete, Sugam Anugrah Tumhre Te Te.
With his krupa, Hanuman makes all the difficult tasks easy for us.
He gives us the strength to progress further in our life.
Bapu said just like the banana tree, when it gives fruit,i.e the bananas, you have to cut it off but more small trees have already started growing near the roots. This is also progress in life.
Bapu then asked, " Do you know all the 20 people in front of you, Do you know the difference in all the people? If I ask you the same thing about buffaloes, if there are 20 buffaloes in front of you, would you know the difference in them? Only the owner of the buffaloes will know the difference and he will also know who is missing amongst them."
This power to recognize the difference amongst things and people is given to us by Hanuman. Our mind gets to know the difference even between 2 similar chairs. Hanuman gives us this ability to recognize people and choose people or paths in life.
Bapu said that when we breathe we breathe in air which is a mixture of various gases, but we choose to breathe in the oxygen and throw out the carbon dioxide.
This ability to choose is given to us by Lord Dattatraya.
Bapu said Hanuman and Dattatraya are the same. Hanuman helps us recognize the difference and Dattatraya helps us to choose the path.
Bapu said children should start early in life. When the decide on taking subjects which will help them in life, rather than wait till the 10th grade, they should choose earlier so that they are not set in a mis matched path later. He said education follows fads. Earlier it used to be engineering, then it was going to America, then now it's computer engineering.
Children, he said, should start doing the Hanuman puja from a young age, or say the Hanuman Chalisa or atleast say the stotra , Om Shri Ramadutaya Hanumantaya Mahapranaya Namo Namah!
The TV should not be on while they are saying it, they should sit in front of a picture of Hanuman and say it with devotion and focus.
Their life will be better.
Ambadnya!
Jai Jai Aniruddha Hari!
What Bapu Said - Thursday 21st March 2013
Hari Om,
Today at Hari Guru Gram marked the last out of the three thursdays when all devotees could offer the Bel leaves on the Valukeshwar Shivaling. It was very crowded and a lot of devotees were there to take this opportunity.
Bapu said that even if you do not have bel leaves to offer the shivaling, offer your namaskar and bow your head. The two hands symbolise your karma or action/deeds and the head represents your knowledge. When you fold your hands in namaskar and bow your head, you are offering your karma and knowledge and that is what the bel signifies.
Referring to ShivRatri , Bapu said that ratri does not mean darkeness , just like prakash does not mean day.
Night or Ratri is a period of shanti ,of calm. It is when people get rest and is like a small halt or stop in your life to recharge.
Also he said our heart beats 72 times a minute, lub-dub-lub-dub...
Our heartbeat is actually Lord Shankar in us and the gap between the lub and the dub is when Lord Shankar does his meditation. He meditates for the devotees to try and bring changes and better things to them.
Bapu says that Lord Shankar thinks of us 72 times in a minute, can we not think of him and say his name at least once?!
Perhaps we can show our devotion to Bapu by saying this stotra atleast once today.
